Gatien Chevallier 8f38219fa1 Input: gpio-keys - fix possible concurrent access in gpio_keys_irq_timer()
gpio_keys_irq_isr() and gpio_keys_irq_timer() access the same resources.
There could be a concurrent access if a GPIO interrupt occurs in parallel
of a HR timer interrupt.

Guard back those resources with a spinlock.

Fabrice Gasnier f4a8f561d0 Input: gpio-keys - fix a sleep while atomic with PREEMPT_RT
When enabling PREEMPT_RT, the gpio_keys_irq_timer() callback runs in
hard irq context, but the input_event() takes a spin_lock, which isn't
allowed there as it is converted to a rt_spin_lock().

Considering the gpio_keys_irq_isr() can run in any context, e.g. it can
be threaded, it seems there's no point in requesting the timer isr to
run in hard irq context.

Relax the hrtimer not to use the hard context.

Gary Bisson 11cdb506d0 Input: mtk-pmic-keys - fix possible null pointer dereference
In mtk_pmic_keys_probe, the regs parameter is only set if the button is
parsed in the device tree. However, on hardware where the button is left
floating, that node will most likely be removed not to enable that
input. In that case the code will try to dereference a null pointer.

Let's use the regs struct instead as it is defined for all supported
platforms. Note that it is ok setting the key reg even if that latter is
disabled as the interrupt won't be enabled anyway.

Markus Burri 353bdd7d14 Input: matrix_keypad - detect change during scan
For a setup where the matrix keypad is connected over a slow interface
(e.g. a gpio-expansion over i2c), the scan can take a longer time to read.

Interrupts need to be disabled during scan. And therefore changes in this
period are not detected.
To improve this situation, scan the matrix again if the row state changed
during interrupts disabled.
The rescan is repeated until no change is detected anymore.

Linus Torvalds 16cd1c2657 A set of final cleanups for the timer subsystem:

   2) The final cleanup of the hrtimer_init() to hrtimer_setup() conversion.

patches which have been merged through other trees are in mainline and
      all new users are catched.

Doing this right before rc1 ensures that new code which is merged post rc1
is not introducing new instances of the original functionality.

Mark Pearson 907bc9268a Input: atkbd - map F23 key to support default copilot shortcut
Microsoft defined Meta+Shift+F23 as the Copilot shortcut instead of a
dedicated keycode, and multiple vendors have their keyboards emit this
sequence in response to users pressing a dedicated "Copilot" key.
Unfortunately the default keymap table in atkbd does not map scancode
0x6e (F23) and so the key combination does not work even if userspace
is ready to handle it.

Because this behavior is common between multiple vendors and the
scancode is currently unused map 0x6e to keycode 193 (KEY_F23) so that
key sequence is generated properly.

Replace ternary (condition ? "enable" : "disable") syntax with helpers
from string_choices.h because:
1. Simple function call with one argument is easier to read. Ternary

Dmitry Torokhov 2860586c58 Input: adp5588-keys - do not try to disable interrupt 0
Commit dc748812fc ("Input: adp5588-keys - add support for pure gpio")
made having interrupt line optional for the device, however it neglected
to update suspend and resume handlers that try to disable interrupts
for the duration of suspend.

Fix this by checking if interrupt number assigned to the i2c device is
not 0 before trying to disable or reenable it.

Uwe Kleine-König 2c19d01599 Input: switch back to struct platform_driver::remove()
After commit 0edb555a65 ("platform: Make platform_driver::remove()
return void") .remove() is (again) the right callback to implement for
platform drivers.

Convert all platform drivers below drivers/input/ to use .remove(), with
the eventual goal to drop struct platform_driver::remove_new(). As
.remove() and .remove_new() have the same prototypes, conversion is done
by just changing the structure member name in the driver initializer.

While touching these files, make indention of the struct initializer
consistent in a few drivers.
