MIPS: tlbex: Simplify r3k check
We already know whether a CPU has r3k style exceptions, including TLB
exceptions, by checking cpu_has_3kex. Remove the list of CPU types in
build_tlb_refill_handler() & check cpu_has_3kex instead.

MIPS: Select R3k-style TLB in Kconfig
Currently areas where we need to determine whether the TLB is R3k-style
need to check for either of CONFIG_CPU_R3000 || CONFIG_CPU_TX39XX.

Introduce a new CONFIG_CPU_R3K_TLB & select it from both of the above,
allowing us to simplify checks for R3k-style TLBs by only checking for
this new Kconfig option.

Stanislav Fomichev d80507d15d selftests/bpf: test_progs: fix verbose mode garbage
fseeko(.., 0, SEEK_SET) on a memstream just puts the buffer pointer
to the beginning so when we call fflush on it we get some garbage
log data from the previous test. Let's manually set terminating
byte to zero at the reported buffer size.

To show the issue consider the following snippet:

	stream = open_memstream (&buf, &len);

	fprintf(stream, "aaa");
	fflush(stream);
	printf("buf=%s, len=%zu\n", buf, len);
	fseeko(stream, 0, SEEK_SET);

	fprintf(stream, "b");
	fflush(stream);
	printf("buf=%s, len=%zu\n", buf, len);

Output:

	buf=aaa, len=3
	buf=baa, len=1

Jacob Pan 8744daf4b0 iommu/vt-d: Remove global page flush support
Global pages support is removed from VT-d spec 3.0. Since global pages G
flag only affects first-level paging structures and because DMA request
with PASID are only supported by VT-d spec. 3.0 and onward, we can
safely remove global pages support.

For kernel shared virtual address IOTLB invalidation, PASID
granularity and page selective within PASID will be used. There is
no global granularity supported. Without this fix, IOTLB invalidation
will cause invalid descriptor error in the queued invalidation (QI)
interface.

 removes a useless kfree.

 Note that the first change causes a trivial merge conflict with the iommu

spi: spi-fsl-dspi: Fix race condition in TCFQ/EOQ interrupt
When the driver is working in TCFQ/EOQ mode (i.e. interacts with the SPI
controller's FIFOs directly) the following sequence of operations
happens:

- The first byte of the tx buffer gets pushed to the TX FIFO (dspi->len
  gets decremented). This triggers the train of interrupts that handle
  the rest of the bytes.

- The dspi_interrupt handles a TX confirmation event. It reads the newly
  available byte from the RX FIFO, checks the dspi->len exit condition,
  and if there's more to be done, it kicks off the next interrupt in the
  train by writing the next byte to the TX FIFO.

Now the problem is that the wait queue is woken up one byte too early,
because dspi->len becomes 0 as soon as the byte has been pushed into the
TX FIFO. Its interrupt has not yet been processed and the RX byte has
not been put from the FIFO into the buffer.

Depending on the timing of the wait queue wakeup vs the handling of the
last dspi_interrupt, it can happen that the main SPI message pump thread
has already returned back into the spi_device driver. When the rx buffer
is on stack (which it can be, because in this mode, the DSPI doesn't do
DMA), the last interrupt will perform a memory write into an rx buffer
that has been freed. This manifests as stack corruption.

The solution is to only wake up the wait queue when dspi_rxtx says so,
i.e. after it has processed the last TX confirmation interrupt and
collected the last RX byte.

Chengguang Xu c87a37ebd4 9p: avoid attaching writeback_fid on mmap with type PRIVATE
Currently on mmap cache policy, we always attach writeback_fid
whether mmap type is SHARED or PRIVATE. However, in the use case
of kata-container which combines 9p(Guest OS) with overlayfs(Host OS),
this behavior will trigger overlayfs' copy-up when excute command
inside container.

Daniel Lezcano cd4c076306 powercap: idle_inject: Use higher resolution for idle injection
The resolution of the idle injection is limited to 1ms. If there is
a need for an injection of 1.2 ms, it is not possible.

The idle injection API is not yet used, so it is safe to convert the
existing API to the new time unit instead of adding more functions.

Convert to microsecond in order to use a finer grain time unit when
injecting idle cycles.

Daniel Lezcano 82e430a6df cpuidle: play_idle: Increase the resolution to usec
The play_idle resolution is 1ms. The intel_powerclamp bases the idle
duration on jiffies. The idle injection API is also using msec based
duration but has no user yet.

Unfortunately, msec based time does not fit well when we want to
inject idle cycle precisely with shallow idle state.

In order to set the scene for the incoming idle injection user, move
the precision up to usec when calling play_idle.

Andy Shevchenko b4cb76961c can: mcp251x: Use devm_clk_get_optional() to get the input clock
Simplify the code which fetches the input clock by using
devm_clk_get_optional(). This comes with a small functional change: previously
all errors were ignored when platform data is present. Now all errors are
treated as errors. If no input clock is present devm_clk_get_optional() will
return NULL instead of an error which matches the behavior of the old code.

Marc Kleine-Budde f6cae800bf can: mcp251x: remove deprecated board file setup example
In the pre device-tree ARM aera there were board files that configured
the system (instead of a device tree). A "struct spi_board_info" was
used to describe the SPI bus.

As new systems should be described via device trees, this patch removes
the board setup example from the driver. The "struct
mcp251x_platform_data" cannot be removed completely, as there are still
some in-tree users of this file.
