Christian König 96e97a562d drm/amdgpu: Drop MMIO_REMAP domain bit and keep it Internal
"AMDGPU_GEM_DOMAIN_MMIO_REMAP" - Never activated as UAPI and it turned
out that this was to inflexible.

Allocate the MMIO_REMAP buffer object as a regular GEM BO and explicitly
move it into the fixed AMDGPU_PL_MMIO_REMAP placement at the TTM level.

This avoids relying on GEM domain bits for MMIO_REMAP, keeps the
placement purely internal, and makes the lifetime and pinning of the
global MMIO_REMAP BO explicit. The BO is pinned in TTM so it cannot be
migrated or evicted.

The corresponding free path relies on normal DRM teardown ordering,
where no further user ioctls can access the global BO once TTM teardown
begins.

- Keep fdinfo/mem-stats visibility for MMIO_REMAP by classifying BOs
  based on bo->tbo.resource->mem_type == AMDGPU_PL_MMIO_REMAP, since the
  domain bit is removed.

Mario Limonciello 7a5fb05b5b amdkfd: Bump ABI to indicate presence of Trap handler support for expert scheduling
commit 0f0c8a6983db ("drm/amdkfd: Trap handler support for expert
scheduling mode") introduced support for a trap handler when expert
scheduling mode. However userspace needs to know whether or not a trap
handler support is present.

Bump the KFD IOCTL API so that userspace can key off this to decide.

Zhu Lingshan cc6b66d661 amdkfd: introduce new ioctl AMDKFD_IOC_CREATE_PROCESS
This commit implemetns a new ioctl AMDKFD_IOC_CREATE_PROCESS
that creates a new secondary kfd_progress on the FD.

To keep backward compatibility, userspace programs need to invoke
this ioctl explicitly on a FD to create a secondary
kfd_process which replacing its primary kfd_process.

This commit bumps ioctl minor version.

Harry Wentland 7fa3ee8c0a drm/colorop: Define LUT_1D interpolation
We want to make sure userspace is aware of the 1D LUT
interpolation. While linear interpolation is common it
might not be supported on all HW. Give driver implementers
a way to specify their interpolation.

Alex Hung 3410108037 drm/colorop: Add multiplier type

It's a simple multiplier to all pixel values. The value is
specified via a S31.32 fixed point provided via the

Alex Hung 99a4e4f08a drm/colorop: Add 1D Curve Custom LUT type
We've previously introduced DRM_COLOROP_1D_CURVE for
pre-defined 1D curves. But we also have HW that supports
custom curves and userspace needs the ability to pass
custom curves, aka LUTs.

This patch introduces a new colorop type, called
DRM_COLOROP_1D_LUT that provides a SIZE property which
is used by a driver to advertise the supported SIZE
of the LUT, as well as a DATA property which userspace
uses to set the LUT.

DATA and size function in the same way as current drm_crtc
GAMMA and DEGAMMA LUTs.

Uma Shankar 621c45ca12 drm: Add Enhanced LUT precision structure
Existing LUT precision structure drm_color_lut has only 16 bit
precision. This is not enough for upcoming enhanced hardwares
and advance usecases like HDR processing. Hence added a new
structure with 32 bit precision values.

Harry Wentland e5719e7f19 drm/colorop: Add 3x4 CTM type
This type is used to support a 3x4 matrix in colorops. A 3x4
matrix uses the last column as a "bias" column. Some HW exposes
support for 3x4. The calculation looks like:

This is also the first colorop where we need a blob property to
program the property. For that we'll introduce a new DATA
property that can be used by all colorop TYPEs requiring a
blob. The way a DATA blob is read depends on the TYPE of
the colorop.

We only create the DATA property for property types that
need it.

Harry Wentland 179ab8e7d7 drm/colorop: Introduce DRM_CLIENT_CAP_PLANE_COLOR_PIPELINE
With the introduction of the pre-blending color pipeline we
can no longer have color operations that don't have a clear
position in the color pipeline. We deprecate all existing
plane properties. For upstream drivers those are:
 - COLOR_ENCODING
 - COLOR_RANGE

Drivers are expected to ignore these properties when
programming the HW. DRM clients that register with
DRM_CLIENT_CAP_PLANE_COLOR_PIPELINE will not be allowed to
set the COLOR_ENCODING and COLOR_RANGE properties.

Setting of the COLOR_PIPELINE plane property or drm_colorop
properties is only allowed for userspace that sets this
client cap.

Harry Wentland 84423e5612 drm/colorop: Add TYPE property
Add a read-only TYPE property. The TYPE specifies the colorop
type, such as enumerated curve, 1D LUT, CTM, 3D LUT, PWL LUT,
etc.

For now we're only introducing an enumerated 1D LUT type to
illustrate the concept.

James Jones 1cf52a0d4b drm: define NVIDIA DRM format modifiers for GB20x
The layout of bits within the individual tiles
(referred to as sectors in the
DRM_FORMAT_MOD_NVIDIA_BLOCK_LINEAR_2D() macro)
changed for 8 and 16-bit surfaces starting in
Blackwell 2 GPUs (With the exception of GB10).
To denote the difference, extend the sector field
in the parametric format modifier definition used
to generate modifier values for NVIDIA hardware.

Without this change, it would be impossible to
differentiate the two layouts based on modifiers,
and as a result software could attempt to share
surfaces directly between pre-GB20x and GB20x
cards, resulting in corruption when the surface
was accessed on one of the GPUs after being
populated with content by the other.

Of note: This change causes the
DRM_FORMAT_MOD_NVIDIA_BLOCK_LINEAR_2D() macro to
evaluate its "s" parameter twice, with the side
effects that entails. I surveyed all usage of the
modifier in the kernel and Mesa code, and that
does not appear to be problematic in any current
usage, but I thought it was worth calling out.

Michael S. Tsirkin c3838262b8 virtio_net: fix alignment for virtio_net_hdr_v1_hash
Changing alignment of header would mean it's no longer safe to cast a
2 byte aligned pointer between formats. Use two 16 bit fields to make
it 2 byte aligned as previously.

This fixes the performance regression since
commit ("virtio_net: enable gso over UDP tunnel support.") as it uses
virtio_net_hdr_v1_hash_tunnel which embeds
virtio_net_hdr_v1_hash. Pktgen in guest + XDP_DROP on TAP + vhost_net
shows the TX PPS is recovered from 2.4Mpps to 4.45Mpps.

Jacek Lawrynowicz 57557964b5 accel/ivpu: Add support for userptr buffer objects
Introduce a new ioctl `drm_ivpu_bo_create_from_userptr` that allows
users to create GEM buffer objects from user pointers to memory regions.
The user pointer must be page-aligned and the memory region must remain
valid for the buffer object's lifetime.

Userptr buffers enable direct use of mmapped files (e.g. inference
weights) in NPU workloads without copying data to NPU buffer objects.
This reduces memory usage and provides better flexibility for NPU
applications.

Input: Add keycodes for electronic privacy screen on/off hotkeys
Add keycodes for hotkeys toggling the electronic privacy screen found on
some laptops on/off.

There already is an API for eprivacy screens as kernel-mode-setting drm
connector object properties:

this API also supports reporting when the eprivacy screen is turned on/off
by the embedded-controller (EC) in response to hotkey presses.

But on some laptops (e.g. the Dell Latitude 7300) the firmware does not
allow querying the presence nor the status of the eprivacy screen at boot.
This makes it impossible to implement the drm connector properties API
since drm objects do not allow adding new properties after creation and
the presence of the eprivacy cannot be detected at boot.

The first notice of the presence of an eprivacy screen on these laptops is
an EC generated (WMI) event when the eprivacy screen hotkeys are pressed.

In this case the new keycodes this change adds can be generated to notify
userspace of the eprivacy screen on/off hotkeys being pressed, so that
userspace can show the usual on-screen-display (OSD) notification for eprivacy
screen on/off to the user. This is similar to how e.g. touchpad on/off
keycodes are used to show the touchpad on/off OSD.

Rob Herring (Arm) 5a5e9c0228 accel: Add Arm Ethos-U NPU driver
Add a driver for Arm Ethos-U65/U85 NPUs. The Ethos-U NPU has a
relatively simple interface with single command stream to describe
buffers, operation settings, and network operations. It supports up to 8
memory regions (though no h/w bounds on a region). The Ethos NPUs
are designed to use an SRAM for scratch memory. Region 2 is reserved
for SRAM (like the downstream driver stack and compiler). Userspace
doesn't need access to the SRAM.

The h/w has no MMU nor external IOMMU and is a DMA engine which can
read and write anywhere in memory without h/w bounds checks. The user
submitted command streams must be validated against the bounds of the
GEM BOs. This is similar to the VC4 design which validates shaders.

The job submit is based on the rocket driver for the Rockchip NPU
utilizing the GPU scheduler. It is simpler as there's only 1 core rather
than 3.

Tested on i.MX93 platform (U65) and FVP (U85) with Mesa Teflon
support.

Thomas Hellström ce831bffce drm/xe/uapi: Hide the madvise autoreset behind a VM_BIND flag
The madvise implementation currently resets the SVM madvise if the
underlying CPU map is unmapped. This is in an attempt to mimic the
CPU madvise behaviour. However, it's not clear that this is a desired
behaviour since if the end app user relies on it for malloc()ed
objects or stack objects, it may not work as intended.

Instead of having the autoreset functionality being a direct
application-facing implicit UAPI, make the UMD explicitly choose
this behaviour if it wants to expose it by introducing
DRM_XE_VM_BIND_FLAG_MADVISE_AUTORESET, and add a semantics
description.

Thomas Hellström 59a2d3f38a drm/xe/uapi: Hide the madvise autoreset behind a VM_BIND flag
The madvise implementation currently resets the SVM madvise if the
underlying CPU map is unmapped. This is in an attempt to mimic the
CPU madvise behaviour. However, it's not clear that this is a desired
behaviour since if the end app user relies on it for malloc()ed
objects or stack objects, it may not work as intended.

Instead of having the autoreset functionality being a direct
application-facing implicit UAPI, make the UMD explicitly choose
this behaviour if it wants to expose it by introducing
DRM_XE_VM_BIND_FLAG_MADVISE_AUTORESET, and add a semantics
description.

Add new parameter DRM_AMDXDNA_HW_LAST_ASYNC_ERR to get array IOCTL. When
hardware reports an error, the driver save the error information and
